Part of the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area, Saskatchewan North is a neighbourhood within Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. The city block layout is rather conducive to driving, and it is very easy to park. However, Saskatchewan North is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Even though there is a high density of cyclists, certain bike-friendly sectors exist, and bicycle riders do not face serious elevation changes, Saskatchewan North is not particularly appropriate for cycling as there are few bike lanes. Most houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very well-suited for people who like to get around as pedestrians since meeting daily needs is difficult without needing to resort to a car.

Services

Families will value the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most properties for sale in Saskatchewan North.
