The neighbourhood of Richmond Lakes is part of the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is situated in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in Richmond Lakes. Parking is easy, and it is a short drive to the closest highway from any home in this neighbourhood. However, this part of Winnipeg is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for residents in Richmond Lakes because carrying out daily needs is impractical. In contrast, this part of the city is conducive to cycling as riding is made easier by the generally flat terrain.

Services

It is a short walk to reach both primary and secondary schools from most houses for sale in this area. However, it can be difficult to reach daycares on foot. With respect to food, some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood will reside within walking distance of the nearest grocery store.
