The neighbourhood of Meadowood is part of the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is located in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.

Transportation

It is easy to get around by bicycle in Meadowood as it is an even ride to most destinations, and this neighbourhood boasts a good cycling infrastructure. Meadowood is also a fairly convenient part of Winnipeg for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are especially easy to access from any home in Meadowood. However, Meadowood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to reach daycares and schools from any location in this area. Residents have the choice between public and private elementary schools.
