The preferred way to get around in this neighbourhood is usually driving. It is especially convenient to park, and many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Transcona South is not very suitable for people who like to travel by foot as running common errands is impractical without a car. However, commuting by bicycle is convenient in this part of the city because there are few slopes to challenge bike riders.
