There are about 10 parks nearby for residents to unwind in, such as Northeast Pioneers Greenway-South, and they are very well-spread out, which makes it very easy to access them. This part of Winnipeg is also reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to the railway line.

This part of Winnipeg is primarily composed of two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 60% of the units in the community and 40% are occupied by renters.
