Minnetonka is a neighbourhood within Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is situated in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by bicycle is convenient in Minnetonka because cyclists do not face serious slopes. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also reasonably suitable for walking; carrying out daily needs is convenient by walking. Cars are a great means of transportation in Minnetonka. It is very easy to access a place to park, and many real estate listings are a very short drive from the nearest highway. However, the public transit system in Minnetonka is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties.

Services

Schools and daycares are straightforward to get to on foot from most properties for sale in this area. As far as eating is concerned, the closest supermarket in Minnetonka is typically only a rather short walk away. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well.

Character

Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood took place between 1960 and 1980. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 90% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented.
