About Manitoba
Manitoba, the centermost province of Canada, is best known for its beautiful lakes and gorgeous nature. With a collection of over 10,000 lakes and 124 National Parks and Reserves, this province boasts some of the greatest outdoor activities anywhere in Canada. Manitoba is also home to some of Canada’s oldest and largest festivals. So whether it's one of the many folk festivals in the summer or the Festival Du Voyageur in the winter, there is something for the whole family to enjoy year round.

Although much of Manitoba’s economy is based on natural resources and agriculture, there continues to be a thriving tourism sector. Many of the province’s heritage sites and buildings are located in the “Exchange District”, North America’s most extensive collection of 20th century stone-cut architecture. To the north lies Churchill Manitoba, known as the “Polar Bear Capital of the World”.

With so much history and surrounding nature it is no wonder why so many choose to make Manitoba their home.
