Part of the Greater Kelowna metropolitan area, Westbank is a neighbourhood within West Kelowna, British Columbia.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred approach to get around in Westbank. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, Westbank is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Westbank as carrying out daily needs is sometimes difficult.

Services

In Westbank, parents and their schoolchildren will commonly be able to access daycares by walking. In contrast, Westbank does not contain any primary schools or high schools. With respect to eating, reaching the closest grocery store by walking is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of West Kelowna.
