Southlands

Southlands is a neighbourhood in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, which is in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured method of transportation in Southlands. It is very convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, public transit riders may have few choices in Southlands as a result of the low service level. Nonetheless, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Vancouver are located in areas that are not especially conducive to walking as few common errands can be run on foot. In contrast, Southlands is appropriate for cycling.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to walk to from most houses for sale in this part of the city. In contrast, Southlands does not contain any high schools. As far as eating is concerned, it is occasionally an option for home buyers in this area to access the nearest supermarket by walking.

Character

The character of Southlands is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. It is very easy to get to parks in the neighbourhood, since reaching one is very easy from the majority of properties for sale and there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to explore. This area is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Southlands.
