Transportation

Downtown Peninsula is a great neighbourhood for environmentally friendly transportation options. Downtown Peninsula is very conducive to pedestrians; all daily errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle, and numerous businesses are very close by. A fair number of people in the area use their bicycle because there is generally a bike-share station close by, and there are countless bike lanes. With many nearby rapid transit stations on the Expo Line and Canada Line, and approximately 40 nearby bus lines, getting around by public transit is especially convenient in Downtown Peninsula. On the other hand, Downtown Peninsula is not very car friendly as it is very hard to find a parking spot, and the street layout is not very amenable to driving.
