Situated within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, East Campus is a neighbourhood in University Endowment Lands, British Columbia.

Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to get around in this neighbourhood. The public transit network in East Campus is very accessible. More precisely, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. This neighbourhood is also suitable for walking, although common errands are difficult to run on foot. A large number of residents in the area use their bicycle since this part of the community has an excellent cycling infrastructure, and a bike share station can usually be found in close proximity.

Services

It is especially convenient to get to the nearest supermarket on foot in East Campus. A limited number of coffee shops is available as well. In terms of education, families will find that wherever their home is located in East Campus, daycares and schools are close by.

Character

East Campus offers a relaxed environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. Most areas in this part of the community are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, access to public green spaces is very easy in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

About 85% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by renters and 15% are occupied by owners. In this part of University Endowment Lands, many dwellings are large apartment buildings, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings. Most housing in this neighbourhood was built following the year 2000, during its biggest building boom. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.
