Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Gloucester. Many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is quite easy. Gloucester is not very suitable for those who like to get around on foot since almost no day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle. Biking is also difficult in Gloucester because there are a fair number of elevation changes, and this area has quite poor bicycling infrastructure.

Services

Gloucester does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Regarding eating, in all cases, a car is required in this neighbourhood to reach the nearest supermarket. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops can be found.

Character

Gloucester offers a slower-paced environment. Most areas in Gloucester are reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - however some parts can be quite loud, especially near the railway line. It is occasionally difficult to reach parks since they aren't well-distributed. Despite that, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to explore.

Housing

About 45% of homes in Gloucester were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1990s. The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of this part of the municipality is an important part of its character. Roughly three quarters of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of two bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
