Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is convenient to travel in Whalley. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are well-suited for walking; meeting daily needs is convenient. Whalley is also reasonably bicycling-friendly because there are a fair number of bike lanes. Owing to a multitude of rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line, and about 30 nearby bus lines, Whalley benefits from a good public transit system. Driving is also a good transportation option in Whalley. It is easy to find a parking spot.

Services

It is usually practical for home buyers in Whalley to purchase their groceries on foot. Moreover, this neighbourhood is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, for example on 120 Street, and property owners can enjoy approximately 10 cafes as well. In terms of education, schools and daycares are convenient to get to on foot from any location in Whalley. In addition to public schools, there are private primary and high schools.

The character of Whalley is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This neighbourhood is very good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, there are over 150 parks close by for residents to unwind in, including 41b - Utility Row and Green Timbers Park, which makes them very easy to get to.

Housing
