Transportation

Pacific Douglas is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 99, are quite easy to access from any home in Pacific Douglas, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, residents using public transit may find very few options in this area as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines. Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very convenient for walking because running common errands is sometimes difficult on foot. This area is also not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is not particularly extensive, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

Primary schools are not particularly numerous in Pacific Douglas, and thus not always within walking distance, and there are no high schools. In addition, parents may find it difficult for their children to access daycares as a pedestrian. In terms of food, some, but not all, house buyers in Pacific Douglas will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store. There are a few opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants.
