Crescent Beach is a community within Surrey, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in Crescent Beach. It is very easy to park. In contrast, Crescent Beach is not an especially convenient part of Surrey for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the community, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in this community as very few daily needs can be carried out on foot. On the other hand, this part of the city is suited for bicycling.

Services

It is a very short walk to reach daycares from anywhere in Crescent Beach. In contrast, there are no primary schools and no high schools in this part of Surrey. Concerning food, buying one's groceries very often demands the use of a car in Crescent Beach. However, residents won't have to look far to take advantage of the closest coffee shop, and a limited selection of restaurants is available in this community.

Character

The character of Crescent Beach is exemplified by its calm ambience. There are around 10 parks nearby for residents to unwind in, including Blackie Spit and Dunsmuir Farm, and they are especially well-situated, resulting in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations in this part of Surrey. This area is also fairly good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in Crescent Beach. The buildings in this community are very old, since the majority of its buildings were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This community also has quite a good choice of housing size options; there is a higher proportion of three bedroom homes in this part of Surrey.
