The neighbourhood of Carey is part of the municipality of Saanich, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Victoria metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the preferred means of transportation in this area. It is easy to access a place to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this area. However, the public transit infrastructure in Carey is not very convenient. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. Carey will attract active people as it is fairly suitable for bicycling. More precisely, there are a good number of bike lanes. However, getting around on foot is not very popular in Carey, although running day-to-day errands is convenient without a vehicle.

Services

It is often an option for property owners in this part of Saanich to shop for their groceries by foot. A small number of restaurants are available in Carey as well.
