The neighbourhood of Glenbrooke South is part of the city of New Westminster, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Glenbrooke South will please homeowners that use different modes of transportation. The public transit network in Glenbrooke South is fairly good. More precisely, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Glenbrooke South is also well-suited for those who travel by foot; many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Getting around by bicycle is easy in this part of New Westminster as there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

A grocery store is ordinarily reachable within a reasonably short walk from anywhere in this area. Additionally, Glenbrooke South is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat, for instance on Columbia Street, and a limited number of cafes can be found as well. Concerning education, schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from anywhere in this area.

Character

The character of Glenbrooke South is exemplified by its relaxed environment. The noise levels in this part of New Westminster are reasonably low, as the streets are generally quite calm - however noise can be bothersome closer to one of the railway lines. Lastly, green spaces, such as Sapperton Landing Park and Glenbrook Ravine, are especially well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to relax in, making them very easy to get to from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood.
