Located within the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area, North Slope is a neighbourhood in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot. However, travelling by public transit is challenging in this part of the city. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is straightforward to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Commuting by bicycle is occasionally difficult in North Slope because cyclists encounter a significant amount of hills, and there are few bike lanes. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as very few daily needs can be carried out without a car.

Services

A vehicle is almost always needed in North Slope to access the nearest grocery store. A limited selection of restaurants can be found in this area. Concerning education, daycares and primary schools are easy to reach as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in this area. On the other hand, North Slope does not have any high schools.
