Stride Hill

Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Stride Hill is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.

Transportation

This part of the city will appeal to house buyers that use several means of transportation. Stride Hill is reasonably suitable for those who travel by foot; many daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle. Biking is also easy in this part of Burnaby because the bicycling network is good. The public transit system in Stride Hill is fairly good. Rapid transit stations, such as Edmonds Station @ Platform 1 and Edmonds Station @ Platform 2 on the Expo Line, are ordinarily within walking distance from most houses in the neighbourhood. Property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. The car is usually the best approach to move around in Stride Hill. The majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to park.

Services

In Stride Hill, parents and their children will almost always be able to access daycares and primary schools by walking. In contrast, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. Concerning food, a portion of property owners in Stride Hill may be able to reach the closest supermarket on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle. On the other hand, Stride Hill is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat.

Character

The character of Stride Hill is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. This part of Burnaby is very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
