Oakridge is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Oakridge will attract homeowners that value a variety of modes of transportation. The good public transit infrastructure makes transit a viable option for many people as a result of plenty of nearby rapid transit stations on the Canada Line, and a few nearby bus lines. Oakridge is also a fairly pleasant part of Vancouver for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle, and many businesses are reasonably nearby. The bicycle is a good mode of transportation in this part of Vancouver since the cycling network is quite extensive.

Services

In this part of Vancouver, families will generally be able to reach schools and daycares by walking. Along with public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. With respect to eating, some, but not all, house buyers in Oakridge will reside within walking distance of the nearest grocery store.
