Situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Lions Gate is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Walking is moderately practical for residents in Lions Gate; many day-to-day needs are convenient to meet without the use of a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses close by. Lions Gate is also a fairly pleasant part of District of North Vancouver for cyclists. For example, the cycling infrastructure is rather well-developed. The transit system in Lions Gate is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. However, cars are a very good transportation option in Lions Gate. Many properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, and it is easy to come across a parking spot.

Services

It is easy to reach the nearest grocery store without the need to get in a vehicle in this neighbourhood. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants. This area experienced its largest construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available properties are from this era.
