Indian River is a very good part of District of North Vancouver for driving. Parking is generally easy. However, public transit users may have limited options in this part of the municipality by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. It is difficult for pedestrians to get around in Indian River because very few common errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, travelling by bicycle is easy in this part of the municipality.
