Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Deep Cove is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is often the best approach to get around in Deep Cove. Accessing a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in Deep Cove is not very frequent. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally around the corner. Deep Cove will appeal to physically active house buyers because it is moderately suitable for biking. For instance, there are a fair number of bike lanes. Deep Cove is not very convenient for pedestrians as very few daily errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their property is located in Deep Cove, schools and daycares are nearby. When it comes to food, it is very difficult to reach the closest grocery store on foot in this neighbourhood. In addition, a cafe is commonly just around the corner, for instance on Gallant Avenue, and residents of Deep Cove can enjoy a few restaurants as well.

Character

Deep Cove is a great neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. This part of District of North Vancouver is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very tranquil. Finally, there are approximately 10 parks nearby for residents to visit, including Wickenden Park and Quarry Reserve, which results in them being very easy to reach from most locations in Deep Cove.

In Deep Cove, roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings and duplexes are the main alternatives in the housing stock. This area also has a good choice of housing size options - it is quite easy to find properties ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
