Transportation

Cedardale is a fairly pleasant part of West Vancouver for pedestrians; most daily needs are convenient to meet on foot, and numerous businesses are close by. Cycling is quite prevalent in this neighbourhood because the bicycling infrastructure is comprehensive. The favoured method to get around in Cedardale is very often a car. It is very easy to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Taylor Offramp Way. On the other hand, the public transit system in this area is sometimes poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop.

Services

It is a short walk to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Cedardale. However, there are no high schools in this part of West Vancouver. Residents are served by public and private primary schools. In terms of food, the nearest supermarket in Cedardale is generally only a short walk away. Character

Cedardale offers a wide selection of green spaces to enjoy, despite its sometimes busy atmosphere. Finally, due to the presence of few pedestrians, this part of West Vancouver is relatively quiet; however noise levels are higher closer to taylor way or Trans-Canada Highway.

This neighbourhood did not experience a single building boom; the construction of new buildings in this neighbourhood was spread throughout several decades in the twentieth and twenty-first century.
