The neighbourhood of Burnaby Lake can be found in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area offers homeowners several alternative methods of transportation. The public transit network in this area is quite convenient. In particular, rapid transit stations, such as Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 2 and Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 1 with access to the Millennium Line, are not very far-removed from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Burnaby Lake is not particularly well-suited for walking as running daily errands is at times difficult on foot. Burnaby Lake is reasonably cycling-friendly as Burnaby Lake boasts a fairly good bicycling infrastructure. Cars are also an excellent means of transportation in this part of the city. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and most real estate listings are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their home is located in this part of the city, secondary schools are close by. In contrast, this part of Burnaby does not contain any primary schools. Regarding eating, a fraction of residents in Burnaby Lake may be able to buy groceries on foot, while others will have to turn to a vehicle.
