Transportation

Arbutus is a good neighbourhood with respect to getting around without driving. Arbutus is reasonably suitable for those who travel by foot; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient by walking, and many businesses are reasonably nearby. This neighbourhood is also a fairly pleasant part of Vancouver for bike riders. More precisely, this area is home to a good bicycling infrastructure. The public transit service in this area is reasonably good due to a few nearby bus lines. On the other hand, cars are a somewhat poor means of transportation in this neighbourhood as the street layout is not very amenable to driving, and it is occasionally difficult to come across a place to park.
