Silver Valley

Silver Valley is a neighbourhood within Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Silver Valley is very car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is easy. However, getting around by transit can be challenging in this part of the city as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. Walking is not very practical for property owners in this part of the city because very few common errands can be run without a car. Silver Valley is also not especially cycling-friendly since the bicycling network is somewhat poor, and riding is rendered strenuous by the often steep topography.

Services

Families will value the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from all homes for sale in Silver Valley. However, there are no primary schools and no high schools in this area. With regards to eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed in Silver Valley to reach the nearest grocery store.

In Silver Valley, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, and the rest are mainly duplexes. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood has happened after the year 2000. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Nearly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the rest are renters.
