Transportation

Cars are a very good transportation option in Southeast Kelowna. It is very easy to park. In contrast, this sector is not an especially convenient part of Kelowna for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Southeast Kelowna is reasonably appropriate for biking. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very conducive to those who travel by foot since carrying out daily needs is very impractical.

Services

Reaching the nearest supermarket on foot is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about restaurants in close proximity. In terms of education, daycares are easy to reach on foot from most houses for sale in Southeast Kelowna. However, primary schools are not abundant in this part of Kelowna, and thus not always within walking distance, and there are no high schools. Residents can choose between public and private primary schools.

Character

Southeast Kelowna is a wonderful sector to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. There are about 20 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out, like Scenic Canyon and Mission Creek, which makes them easy to reach. This sector is also very quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic.

Housing

The substantial proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Southeast Kelowna is an important part of its character. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 85% of the population of this sector own their home and 15% are renters. The homes in this area are relatively new, because roughly 30% of its dwellings were built after the year 2000, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
