Rose Hill

Rose Hill is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area.

Transportation

Moving around by car is very easy in this neighbourhood. The street layout is especially well suited for getting around by car, and nearby highways, such as yellowhead south hwy no 5, are very easy to access from any location in this part of the city. However, Rose Hill is not very transit friendly. The bike is a mode of transportation in this area since there are a limited number of bike lanes, and riding is made strenuous by the often hilly topography. Nevertheless, bicycling is rather popular, and certain bicycling-friendly sectors exist. Rose Hill is not very conducive to people who travel as pedestrians since few daily errands can be run without needing a car.

Services

It is a rather short walk to get to primary schools from anywhere in Rose Hill. However, this part of Kamloops does not have any high schools. With respect to food, buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in Rose Hill.
