Situated within the Greater Victoria metropolitan area, Carey is a neighbourhood in Saanich, British Columbia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Carey. Most properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and parking is quite easy. However, the public transit network in Carey is not very practical. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 20 bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. A fair number of people in the area use their bike as the cycling infrastructure is quite well-developed. However, there aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Carey, even though running common errands is convenient by walking.

Services

The closest supermarket in Carey is typically only a rather short walk away. A limited number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. With regards to education, it is a short walk to reach schools and daycares from most homes for sale in this part of the municipality.
