Transportation

Driving is usually the best approach to get around in Old Summit Lake. Parking is quite easy. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this area because almost no common errands can be run on foot. Cycling is also difficult in Old Summit Lake since the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

This part of Prince George does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very difficult to get to daycares on foot. As far as food is concerned, in all cases, a car is needed to buy groceries.

Character

Old Summit Lake is good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Public green spaces are spread out sporadically, which makes it very hard to reach them. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to visit.
