Fraserview

Part of the Greater Prince George metropolitan area, Fraserview is a neighbourhood within Prince George, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured transportation option in this area. It is very easy to come across a place to park. However, Fraserview is not an especially pleasant part of Prince George for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Fraserview is not particularly well-suited for walking because few daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle. On the other hand, Fraserview is reasonably bike-friendly since there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.

Services

Families will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in Fraserview. With respect to food, accessing the nearest supermarket on foot is possible for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city. There are also a few choices for those who care about restaurants in close proximity.

Character

The character of Fraserview is exemplified by its relaxed ambience. Public green spaces are especially well-located and there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore, making them very easy to access. This neighbourhood is also quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic.

Housing

In Fraserview, most buildings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly small apartment buildings and mobile homes. This part of the city experienced its main construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this era. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas the remainder are renters.
