Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Parking is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit network in this area is not very practical. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. It is impractical for people walking to navigate this part of Prince George because many daily needs are sometimes difficult to meet on foot. In contrast, Cranbrook Hill is suited for bicycling.

Services

Cranbrook Hill does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, parents and their kids may consider it very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian. As far as eating is concerned, some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A small selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Cranbrook Hill. This area is very quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Finally, it is easy to access parks from most locations in the neighbourhood, since there are approximately 30 of them close by for residents to enjoy and a large number of homes for sale have a park nearby.

Housing

In Cranbrook Hill, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. Roughly one third of properties in this neighbourhood were built after the year 2000, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
