Chief Lake

The neighbourhood of Chief Lake is part of the city of Prince George, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Prince George metropolitan area.

Transportation

Chief Lake is especially car friendly. Most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and accessing a place to park is quite easy. However, public transit users may have very limited options in Chief Lake by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of slopes. It is also very challenging for pedestrians to navigate Chief Lake as meeting daily needs is impractical without a car.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in Chief Lake and consequently they can be a long distance away. Moreover, Chief Lake does not have any high schools. Regarding eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to shop for groceries. There are a few choices for those who care about restaurants in close proximity.

Character

Chief Lake offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors.
