Transportation

Commuting by car is very convenient in Upper Sahali. Nearby highways, such as columbia street west, are fairly easy to reach from anywhere in this area, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, commuting by public transit is challenging in Upper Sahali. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually around the corner. This part of the city is not very conducive to people who travel by walking since few common errands can be run without the need to use a car. On the other hand, moving around by bicycle is convenient in Upper Sahali.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are easy to reach without a vehicle from most homes for sale in this part of Kamloops. In contrast, there are only a few high schools and accordingly they can be an extended stroll away. In terms of eating, getting to the nearest grocery store without a vehicle is practical for some, but not all, home buyers in Upper Sahali. There are also a few restaurants and cafes in this part of the city.

Character

Upper Sahali is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. There are about 10 green spaces close by for residents to visit, such as Albert McGowan Park and Gleneagles Park, and they are very well-located, making it very easy to access them. Most areas in this area are quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although there are still several louder sections, especially around Columbia Offramp Street or highway 5a.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing around 45% of dwellings in this part of Kamloops, and the remainder are mainly small apartment buildings.
