Part of the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area, Rayleigh is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. Parking is generally easy. On the other hand, Rayleigh is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Rayleigh is not very suitable for pedestrians because meeting daily needs is very difficult without a car. This area is also not especially bike-friendly since there are a good number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is rather limited.

Services

In all cases, a vehicle is required in Rayleigh to access the closest supermarket. There are a few options for those who appreciate restaurants in close proximity. Regarding education, it is a short walk to get to primary schools from most homes for sale in this part of the city. On the other hand, Rayleigh does not contain any high schools.

Character

Rayleigh is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. The noise levels in this part of the city are very low, as the streets tend to be very tranquil. A majority of the housing growth in this neighbourhood took place between 1960 and 1980. Notably, this neighbourhood is good for those looking for four or more bedroom homes.
