English Bluff

Situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, English Bluff is a neighbourhood within Delta, British Columbia.

Transportation

The favoured approach to get around in English Bluff is very often a car. It is especially convenient to access a place to park. In contrast, getting around by transit can be difficult in English Bluff as a result of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. This area is not particularly conducive to cycling since there are few bike lanes, and riding is made arduous by the often hilly topography. Most homes for sale in this part of Delta are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as many daily needs are impractical to meet on foot.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach daycares and primary schools from anywhere in English Bluff. However, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. In terms of food, some, but not all, house buyers in English Bluff will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket.

Most housing in this part of the municipality was built between 1960 and 1980, during its main building boom.
