Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in this part of Chilliwack. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this neighbourhood, and finding a place to park is generally easy. In contrast, getting around by public transit is very hard in this part of Chilliwack. Most houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very suitable for walking because carrying out daily needs is impractical on foot.

Services

It can be very difficult to get to high schools and primary schools as a pedestrian from houses for sale in this neighbourhood. Likewise, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. Concerning food, property owners in this neighbourhood typically need a vehicle to reach the closest grocery store.

Character

Valley South is fairly good for those who prefer quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally reasonably peaceful - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially near Trans-Canada Highway or the railway line. Public green spaces aren't well-spread out, making it very hard to get to them.
