Sardis

Sardis is a neighbourhood within Chilliwack, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sardis is an extremely convenient part of Chilliwack for driving. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and most real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. In contrast, the public transit network in Sardis is rather limited. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by about 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Chilliwack, even though most daily needs are convenient to meet on foot.

Services

A fraction of residents in Sardis may be able to do their groceries by walking, while others will have to use a vehicle. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity. With regards to education, in Sardis, families will typically be able to reach primary schools and daycares on foot. However, this area does not contain any high schools.

Character

The noise levels in Sardis are reasonably low, as the streets are quite peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to the railway line. Green spaces aren't well-spread out, which makes them very difficult to access.
