The neighbourhood of Sussex-Nelson can be found in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Regardless of the mode of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to get around in Sussex-Nelson. The public transit system in this part of the city is reasonably good. For instance, it is easy to come across a nearby rapid transit station, including Royal Oak Station @ Platform 2 and Royal Oak Station @ Platform 1 with access to the Expo Line, from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Sussex-Nelson is also a fairly pleasant part of Burnaby for pedestrians; running day-to-day errands is easy on foot, and many businesses are reasonably close by. This part of the city is bicycling-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is quite well-developed.

Services

It is usually feasible for property owners in this area to do their groceries on foot. Moreover, this area is a good place in which to eat out. With regards to education, in this part of the city, parents and their schoolchildren will typically be able to access daycares and schools by walking.

The buildings in this neighbourhood are relatively new, because roughly one third of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s.
