Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Deer Lake is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.

Transportation

Deer Lake permits home buyers to move around using different means of transportation. Owing to a few nearby bus lines, the public transit system in Deer Lake is reasonably practical. Many of the homes for sale in this part of Burnaby are located in places that are also well-suited for those who travel by foot; running common errands is convenient, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. Deer Lake is appropriate for cycling.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from anywhere in this area. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, the nearest grocery store in this part of Burnaby is generally only a rather short walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy Deer Lake. This area is very quiet overall, as the streets are usually very peaceful.
