Traveling by walking is fairly convenient for residents in this part of the city; many common errands can be run without needing to get in a car. On the other hand, Sumas Way is not particularly suited for bicycling because riding is rendered arduous by the typically hilly terrain, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed. The transit network in Sumas Way is rather limited. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. However, cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Sumas Way. It is very easy to park, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as sumas way, from any location in this part of the city.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to access without the use of a vehicle from any location in Sumas Way. However, this part of the city does not have any high schools. In terms of food, home buyers in Sumas Way will be pleased to learn that a grocery store is always only a short distance away. The character of Sumas Way is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This part of Abbotsford is also fairly good for those who need quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case around Sumas Offramp Way, Trans-Canada Highway or one of the railway lines.
