Historic Downtown is a neighbourhood within Abbotsford, British Columbia, which is located in the Abbotsford - Mission metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is appropriate for biking. It is also convenient for people walking to get around in this part of the city; running daily errands is easy without a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The transit network in Historic Downtown is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, this part of the city is very car friendly. Nearby highways are easy to reach from any home in this neighbourhood, and accessing a place to park is easy.

Services

In this part of the city, parents and their kids will generally be able to get to schools and daycares as pedestrians. Residents can choose between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. When it comes to food, a portion of property owners in this part of Abbotsford may be able to reach the closest grocery store as pedestrians, while others will have to use another means of transportation.
