The neighbourhood of Ferndale is part of the municipality of Mission, British Columbia, which is situated in the Abbotsford - Mission metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is especially convenient in Ferndale. It is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, residents using public transit may experience very few options in Ferndale as a result of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines. This part of the municipality is not very cycling-friendly because there are very few bike lanes, and there are quite a few hills. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for home buyers in Ferndale since many daily needs are difficult to carry out without the use of a car.

Daycares are convenient to walk to from most houses for sale in this part of the municipality.
