Alberta, the westernmost of the prairie provinces boasts beautiful national parks and an active economy. Between the Calgary Stampede and the Edmonton Fringe Festival in the summer and the Ice on Whyte Festival and skiing in the winter, this province attracts home-buyers from all walks of life.

The growth and stability of Alberta’s economy has caused unemployment rates to remain low in recent years. This is largely due to the oil industry and agricultural sector. However, the provincial government has also supported the founding of several high-tech industries in Edmonton and Calgary. The founding of these companies demonstrate Alberta’s ever evolving and growing economy.

Alberta is a diverse and dynamic province. Between its rich history, sprawling cities, plentiful events, bountiful ranchland, glorious national parks and a strong, economy, this province proves time and time again to be a great place to call home.
