REALTOR® Profile
Ive always had a fascination with storytelling and the stories that make up peoples lives. Growing up in a military family, I know what its like to pack up and leave one place to start over in another (and another and another!). I have upsized and downsized. Lived in big old houses and tiny apartmentsbought a massive couch and tried to find a house it would fit in. Ive upcycled furniture (Im pretty good at it!) and tried my hand at gardening (Im pretty bad at it!).Ive lived in Port Williams & Cornwallis, Ottawa & North Bay, Dartmouth & back to Ontario before settling in Pictou to open a B&B. When it was time for a change, I knew I wanted to come back to the Annapolis Valley. There I rediscovered apple orchards, seaside villages, and the simple pleasure of a drive in the rolling countryside that is just beyond my front door. Ive had two B&Bs of my own and helped the lovely folks at the Grand Pre Winery get their new inn up and running. I have spearheaded the creation and implementation of marketing & networking events, trade shows & Christmas tours. Ive made beds & met movie stars, created websites & baked a lot of muffins. I learned how to fold fitted sheets, the right way to paint a clawfoot tub and the wrong way to hang wallpaper. Being a small business owner also taught me that success, in any endeavour, is about relationships. Relationships with your guests, your community & with all the talented professionals in your industry. Ive found that same team spirit here at Century 21 All Points, where we are using all of the resources available - dedicated people, time-tested business & sales strategies, innovative & evolving technology - and never, ever forgetting those very important human connections. Real estate is a wonderful opportunity for me to re-imagine and re-purpose the most important skill that innkeeping taught me helping people feel at home. Every home is a brand new chapter in the story of our lives. I'd like to help you tell yours.
