Vera thrives when offered the opportunity to create community and a sense of home. Since her childhood, which was split between nineteen countries, she's done just that: connect authentically in the community wherever she went around the world. Vera has experienced over 40 cultures and has 30 years working in Public Relations, Human Resources, Sales and she takes a people-centric approach to everything she does. When her and her husband decided to buy a home in Southwestern Nova Scotia in 2014, she took a leap of faith not knowing she would fall in love with this corner of the world. âI was welcomed into the community of Yarmouth like never before, and I soon realized that people here speak the language of the heart,â she says. Working with Engel & Völkers was a natural progression for Vera, who loves to share the wholesome lifestyle and untouched beauty of the region, with newcomers from across Canada and around the world. She derives immense gratification from helping people find their dream home, whether for retirement or to raise a family. With an educational background in Gemology, Museum Studies, and Art History, Vera brings both rigor and attention to detail to the home buying/selling process as well as her seamless ability to invoke elegance and beauty in the most unexpected of places! In her free time Vera loves to read books, walk on the beach, have a good laugh with her dear friends and most importantly spend time with her husband, her son and her daughter.
