Leigh Downey

Leigh Downey grew up in Newfoundland and Labrador and has lived in British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick. In 1998 she moved to Nova Scotia and fell in love with the South Shore. Leigh often enjoys the local beaches, lakes and trails with her Labrador Retriever, Lola. Leigh has always excelled in work that allows her to assist people. Previously Executive Director of the Bridgewater and Area Chamber of Commerce. She managed multiple Visitor Information Centers on the South Shore. She helped tourists navigate and plan their stay which ignited her pride in the local area. While working in tourism she often told people they should move to the South Shore of Nova Scotia, the area has so much to offer. Leigh's passion for Real Estate inspired her to volunteer with the Nova Scotia Association of Realtor's and is the current Alternate Director for the South Shore. She also is a volunteer for the NSAR's Education Committee. Building on her experience in business and tourism, real estate was a natural progression for her. Leigh brings with her honesty, integrity, creativity and strong communication skills. She is excited to assist her clients sell or buy property.
