Tim Collins

After being born in Ontario during his fathers military posting, Tim then grew up in the UK. Upon moving back to Canada some 17 years ago, Tim and his family discovered the beautiful scenery and amazing lifestyle that was available on Vancouver Island (and was happy to escape the long winters in the east!). After spending just a few days in Nanaimo, Tim decided that was where he wanted to be and picked up and moved immediately. Tim's real estate experience is significant. After catching the investing bug in the UK Tim continued upon arriving in Canada. In Ontario he ran a real estate investing business focusing on highly desirable student rental properties close to large universities. Many times taking older homes and working with a team of contractors to renovate and upgrade. He has also invested in income generating cash flowing property here in Nanaimo. Tim recently spent 3 years working in the real estate technology industry, working with agents in North America to set up lead generating platforms and teaching them how to market listings for maximum results. Tim has built a large online presence with a number of projects, one of which his podcast ''The Anxiety Podcast'' focusing on reducing stress and anxiety has over 3 million downloads to date. Tim lives in Nanaimo with his wife and 3 boys.
