With years of construction experience, Mike knows homes inside and out. At 17 y/o he worked his way up from laborer to brick layer in Courtney; then moved to Kitsalano, Vancouver and worked from laborer to framer on new construction on Granville Island (1987); then apprenticed in new home construction in Shaughnessy, Vancouver which taught him the ins and outs of surveying, foundations, plumbing and electrical. He’s grateful for those skills every time he invests in a new property and his clients depend on this insight to help make informed decisions. Mike was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and due to 'The Troubles', his family moved to Victoria when he was 4 yrs old. Mike also has U.S. citizenship from his time working in Boston. In 2004 he received his Green Card and started a digital marketing company. Mike soon moved back to Victoria and partnered with local marketing phenom, Ross Dunn, a world renowned Digital Marketer or SEO. Mike became a realtor knowing he could offer clients an exceptional marketing experience that goes beyond the MLS and maximizes the number of eyes viewing a property 'For Sale'. Now focused on residential real estate, Michael uses his education, construction and digital marketing experiences to help clients optimize the return on their most valued investment, their Home.
